DEIH’s work speaks of perception, about how every person perceives a different world. Through his art, he explores the search for a shared understanding: a common ground between all our individual realities. The work of this Spanish artist and illustrator has a sci-fi-inspired feel. DEIH also speaks of his feelings and his life. “Most of the time my work speaks of itself (and hopefully for itself). I draw my inner life as I consider my relationships with others and myself.”

Het werk van DEIH gaat over perceptie, over hoe ieder mens een andere wereld waarneemt. Door zijn kunst verkent hij de zoektocht naar een gedeeld begrip: een gemeenschappelijke grond tussen al onze individuele werkelijkheden. Het werk van deze Spaanse kunstenaar en illustrator heeft een sciencefiction-achtige uitstraling. DEIH spreekt in zijn werk ook over zijn gevoelens en zijn leven. “Meestal spreekt mijn werk voor zichzelf (en hopelijk namens zichzelf). Ik teken mijn innerlijk leven, terwijl ik nadenk over mijn relaties met anderen en met mezelf.”
