Ellis Tolsma – Growth
Een kleurrijk raam voor een kleurrijke straat! Deze schildering is gemaakt door Ellis Tolsma in de Vijzelstraat, het ‘kleinste fijnste winkelstraatje’ van Leeuwarden.
Ellis: “Ik las dat er af en toe een boerenmarkt is op de plek waar ik mijn schildering maakte, en dat het ooit een drukke straat was met meer markten en meer winkels. Ik dacht dat het leuk zou zijn om een kleine, kleurrijke boerderij te creëren, zodat de straat een mooie schildering krijgt die past bij hun marktkramen.”

Ellis: “I read that there is a farmers’ market at the place where I made my mural every once in a while. Also that it was once a very bustling street with more markets and more shops! I thought that it would be nice to create a small and colorful farm, showing the street a beautiful shop front that will match their market stands.”
