Lot Madeleine – FRIEND – SHIP
Een foto zegt meer dan duizend woorden, maar in het geval van deze raamschildering zeggen woorden precies genoeg. Kunstenaar Lot Madeleine creeërde dit kunstwerk voor de werkplek Pure Workspace gericht op vrouwelijke ondernemers.
Lot: “Het citaat en de tekst over vriendschap vertegenwoordigen voor mij hoe verbindingen werken met mensen van wie je houdt en met wie je je op meerdere niveaus kunt identificeren. De herhaling van de eerste zin komt voort uit het idee dat het lang kan duren om deze verbindingen echt te begrijpen. De zin onderaan biedt een beetje inzicht voor zelfreflectie.”

EN: A picture is worth a thousand words, but in the case of this window painting, words say just enough. Artist Lot Madeleine created this work for Pure Workspace, which focuses on female entrepreneurs.
Lot: “The quote and text about friendship represent, for me, how connections work with people you love and can relate to on multiple levels. The repetition of the first sentence arises from the idea that it can take a long time to truly understand these connections. The sentence at the bottom offers a bit of insight for self-reflection.”
