Peachzz – Calypso
Writer’s Block x Peachzz @ Fier
Een tropische mural voor regenachtige dagen 🦩 Street artist Peachzz creëerde deze kleurrijke schildering voor Fier.
Peachzz: “Het werk, getiteld Calypso, is een levendig eerbetoon aan de Caribische fauna, geschilderd op twee met elkaar verbonden wanden. Een flamingo vult de volledige lengte van de ruimte, terwijl een Venezolaanse troepiaal (vogel) contrast creëert in zowel kleur als karakter. Bloeiende aloë vera stroomt onder en om hen heen en strekt zich uit over de compositie. Calypso staat symbool voor een vrolijke viering van warmte, veerkracht en ritme in de natuur.”
Fier is landelijk expert op het gebied van (seksueel) geweld, uitbuiting en eerkwesties. Bij Fier staat de mens centraal – samen maken ze cliënten weer trots (fier) op zichzelf, zodat ze een fijne toekomst hebben. We hopen dat iedereen die de locatie ziet zich Fier voelt! ❤️

Peachzz: “Calypso is a vibrant homage to Caribbean wildlife, painted across two connecting walls. A flamingo spans the full length of the space, its form bridging the divide between the surfaces, while a Venezuelan Troupial adds contrast in both colour and character. Flowing beneath and around them, flowering aloe vera stretches across the composition. Calypso stands as a joyful celebration of warmth, resilience, and rhythm in nature.”
Fier is a national expert in (sexual) violence, exploitation, and honor issues. At Fier, the individual is at the center. Together, they make clients proud (fier) of themselves again so that they can have a bright future! We hope everyone who visits the location feels Fier ❤️
