Zeggen dat dit een standaard mural is, is jezelf voor de gek houden! Wytze en zijn team hebben een locatie toegewezen gekregen met meer hoeken dan rechte stukken muur. Een uitdaging die naadloos aansluit bij zijn speelse stijl die de straten van Assen nu opvrolijkt!
Wytze: Het thema Beweging heb ik lekker letterlijk genomen, door verschillende – onbestaande – sporten af te beelden. Figuren die elkaar omkegelen, een gewichtheffende ballerina op skates, een schaatser die wordt achtervolgd door een dartpijl, stand-up racing, enzovoort. Met Remco (samen vormen we Team Posi) heb ik deze cartooneske sporters op de muur gezet. De bedoeling was om de wijk een positief gevoel te geven met vrolijke figuren die je hopelijk een grijns op je gezicht geven.

EN: To say that this is a standard mural, is to fool yourself! Wytze and his team assigned a location with more angles than straight walls. A challenge that fits seamlessly into his playful style that brightens the streets of Assen these days!
Wytze: I took the Exercise theme quite literally, by depicting various – non-existent – sports. Figures bowling each other, a weightlifting ballerina on skates, a skater being chased by a dart, stand-up racing, and so on. With Remco (together we form Team Posi) I put these cartoonish athletes on the wall. The intention was to give the neighborhood a positive feeling with cheerful figures that hopefully emits a grin on your face.
