ENG: Italian illustrator and muralist Luogo Comune transforms urban spaces with his symbolic storytelling! Using a mostly graphic approach he captures elements of nature and local traditions in his colorful artworks.
“My work would like to create a delicate composition inspired by the nature that surrounds the neighborhood. For this building, my idea was to work on the suggested themes of nature, relaxation, happiness and friendship with my distinctive style. My idea developed by working on a playful and colorful vertical composition with some different framed subjects inspired by the themes. I would like to inspire comforting and domestic feelings for all the people living nearby. A colorful metaphor with a strong visual and communicative impact. All interpreted with a chromatic choice that fits perfectly with the surrounding context, giving a new, deep, and renewed identity to the wall.”

Mijn idee ontwikkelde zich door te werken aan een speelse en kleurrijke verticale compositie met een aantal verschillende ingelijste onderwerpen, geïnspireerd door de thema’s. Ik wil graag troostende en huiselijke gevoelens opwekken voor alle mensen die in de buurt wonen. Een kleurrijke metafoor met een sterke visuele en communicatieve impact. Alles geïnterpreteerd met een chromatische keuze die perfect past bij de omringende context, waardoor de muur een nieuwe, diepe en vernieuwde identiteit krijgt.”
